Having simply loved Cornwall ourselves and been frequent visitors over many years, together with a long history of working in hospitality, it was only ever a matter of time before we moved here and opened our guest house.
Named after the majestic agapanthus or ‘African Lily’ which grows profusely in Penzance, our guest house is one of a number of grand, stone-built Victorian houses which run the length of Morrab Road, from the town at one end to the sea at the other.
Many of our rooms benefit from a view towards the beautiful Penlee Park with its popular tea room and open air theatre. We are also lucky to be located just a three minute walk from the stunning Morrab Gardens which showcases an impressive collection of Mediterranean and Subtropical plants and again dates from the Victorian era.
Our focus is to provide the style of accommodation that we sought when we holidayed here ourselves … a touch of luxury in a comfortable home from home environment.
We look forward to meeting you,
Sally and Tony
